Nanashi, commonly known as 774, is the author and illustrator of the Japanese webcomic, Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro. Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket, an internet and app-based web manga magazine established in November 2017, is where the web manga first appeared. During the spring and summer of 2021, Telecom Animation Film produced and broadcasted a television anime series based on the manga. Season two has been confirmed.

Kazehaya High School sophomore, Naoto Hachiojim, likes to spend his free time drawing comics instead of making friends or participating in extracurricular activities. Hayase Nagatoro, a first-year student, finds the manga, nicknames him “Senpai,” and teases him to a point where he cries.

In the Art Club area where he hangs out, she continues to ridicule him for his shyness and otaku hobbies, sometimes in a suggestive manner, calling him vulgar. Affectionate with Nagatoro, Senpai eventually breaks out his cocoon and becomes involved in her life as she pushes him to be more proactive.

While Gamo, Yosshii, and Sakura first seem to be harsh and superficial middle school girls who simply want to torture Senpai, they soon realize that Nagatoro and Senpai like each other and become supportive friends who plot to bring them closer together.

The semi-retired president of the Art Club seeks to close down the club, however after a competition challenge during the cultural festival, he permits it to remain. As a freshman in her sophomore year of high school, the president’s younger cousin joins the school’s Art Club.

Hayase Nagatoro

A girl in her first years of high school takes pleasure in taunting Senpai. Despite the fact that she seems to be just interested in torturing him, she actually likes him, and she gets quite aggressive against anybody else who attempts to abuse Senpai.

Her friends refer to her as Hayacchi, and her real name isn’t disclosed until chapter 62 of the novel. She serves as a supportive part of the swimming club, and she also helps other school sports groups as needed. Mixed martial arts skills is something she appreciates, and she joins a judo club in her second year.

Naoto Hachiouji

A shy introvert who prefers to stay away from social situations and who enjoys drawing. His self-confidence gradually grows as a result of his meeting Nagatoro and spending time with her instead of her friends after that.

Despite the fact that some of his guy friends refer to him as Nao-kun, Sunomiya’s first name was revealed in Side Story 5, but his last name wasn’t really known until the following school year, as Sunomiya entered the Art Club.

Maki Gamo

One of Nagatoro’s close  friends. In the anime series, she has bright orange hair. Although she has a rough exterior, she is by far the most mature out of all her classmates, and she often serves as just a big sister to them.

Her family owns and operates the mixed martial arts gym, which she affectionately refers to as Senpai “Paisen.” The bonus material for Volume 10 has a battle royale profile featuring her English name, Maki Gamou, on it.

She’s one of Nagatoro’s buddies, with light hair fashioned in twin tails as well as an ahoge. Most of the time, she follows Gamo about and follows through whatever plots she comes up with. According to her friends, she is a little of an airhead. The majority of what she says is a repetition of what Gamo says.

She’s another one of Nagatoro’s buddies with a tan complexion, and blonde and short hair, who appears briefly at the beginning of the story and becomes more prominent in chapter 27 of the manga. She appears to be nice and relaxed just on the surface, and yet she likes to make men who really are trying to compete for her attention jealous. She talks a lot about putting a lot of people together for entertainment.

Sana Sunomiya

A student who serves as the president of the Art Club. Long hair frames her face, then highlights ruby eyes. She has a strict and serious demeanor, but she just doesn’t care about revealing her physique for the purpose of her work, which got her several awards and recognition.

A female character on one of Senpai’s manga series also has a striking similarity to her. Because she believes the club became a gathering place for Nagatoro and her delinquent-like friends, she promises to shut that down during the school festival if they don’t win a challenge.

But when the painting is rejected, she submits the dar, retracts her petition, and gets dressed up as just a bunny girl as a penalty by Nagatoro’s pals as a result.

Later, she encourages Senpai to work on his relationship with Nagatoro. In subsequent chapters, she often appears in strange areas, commando-style, which serves as a recurring humor. A letter of acceptance has been received by her from the Tokyo University of the Arts. Her forename is not revealed until chapter 84, when she is addressed as Sana-san by her younger cousin.

Nagatoro’s sister

“Big Sis-toro” is Nagatoro’s elder sister as well as a university student. She is devoted to and spoils her younger sister, but she also teases her, causing her to be embarrassed on a number of occasions as a result. Nagatoro was shown to regard her as just a type of good example and confidante, and this was confirmed in the anime.

At school, he competes against Nagatoro and Senpai’s buddies, who are all Olympic-level judoka. They used to practice judo with each other when they were children; Nagatoro’s natural talent allowed her to win every single time.

However, as Orihara put in continuous work and effort to grow much stronger with time, Nagatoro began to lose her enthusiasm, and she eventually gave up after being defeated on her own in a match.

Initially, she appeared to be completely unaware of Nagatoro’s strained relationship, going to treat her in a nice and friendly manner. However, since Nagatoro has restarted judo practice, she has been nice and supportive, and even teased her regarding her connection with Senpai, together with her brother, Gamo.

Hana Sunomiya

A first-year student who enters the art club just at the start of a new academic year. She is indeed the lil bro of the Club President, and she used to be a member of the very same art group as Senpai when they were in middle school together.

She is supportive of Senpai’s friendship with Nagatoro, despite the fact that Nagatoro is wary of her and is concerned that Senpai would grow interested in Sunomiya. Until volume 11 of the manga series, when it is revealed in an additional sketch between chapters, when it is addressed in the actual plot in chapter 88, her forename is not revealed.

Being here means you’re done reading the entire blog, I guess. If you’ve read it thoroughly, you can see clearly that this blog has some words about the manga. Well, you can’t find fillers if you don’t read the manga.
