Hello and welcome to another exciting blog! As you can see from the title, today we will discuss some of The Rising of the Shield Hero’s best and worst characters.
Rising Shield of the Hero is a great anime and manga that is capturing everyone’s attention due to its excellent plot and theme.
Every anime has both good and bad characters, and in today’s article, we’ll talk about both of them. This blog will be divided into two sections: Worst and Best, so without further ado, let’s get started.
THE MOST LOVED AND HATED RISING OF THE SHIELD HERO CHARACTERS
In this section, we’ll be discussing the worst characters of The Rising of The Shield Hero, and by worst, I don’t mean the useless characters but the ones who are hated the most.
16. Malty S. Melromarc
Malty S. Melromarc is ranked 16th (or the worst of the worst) among the most hated characters, and she deserves every bit of it. Malty looks to be a kind and innocent young lady, but trust me when I say she is the worst. She is the one person who has made our MC’s life a living hell.
She ruined Naofumi’s life the day he was reborn into this world by accusing him of sexually assaulting her (The Rising of The Shield Hero Anime: Episode 1), and I was really upset while watching this scene.
I mean, our MC is already facing bullying in his actual world, and even in this world, he can’t find peace (The Rising of The Shield Hero manga: Chapter 2).
Malty did not only accuse him but also looted everything he had (I just want to kick Malty right now).
15. Motoyasu Kitamura
Motoyasu Kitamura is the next character to appear, and he is one of the four heroes that were brought into this realm as heroes. Motoyasu is one of the most despised heroes due to his bizarre personality. He simply falls in love with every girl he sees and proceeds to impress them.
He was a total simp for Malty due to such behavior, and he adored doing anything she asked of him. But that’s not all, Motoyasu is a fool, but in terms of power, he is the strongest one, next to Naofumi, of course.
He is also known as the Spear Hero, who uses the legendary Spear in battle. Furthermore, once he goes all out, no one can stop him, again, except Naofumi.
14. Aultcray Melromarc XXXII
Get ready because we’re about to introduce you to a character that is just as despised as Malty. You’ll hate him even more after you learn what he did throughout the anime series.
He despised demi-humans and declared war against them, which later earned him the title of The Trash King.
Moreover, he always hated Naofumi (because Naofumi was also the protector of demi–humans), and he is the primary reason Malty accused Naofumi. Malty became a spoiled brat as a result of his horrible upbringing and accused our Hero of something unforgivable.
He’s a cunning man with many secrets, and to everyone’s surprise, his real name is Luge Lances Forbrey, and seeing him suffering was the happiest moment of my life.
13. Biscas T. Balmus
Do you despise individuals who have two personalities? The ones who hide behind a mask of being good while doing all the evil deeds behind the curtains? If yes, we can be friends because when I see someone like that, I simply want to smack him in the face and smash his teeth.
Biscas is the exact same character because he conceals his real identity—which is being evil, behind an image of a kind-hearted man while being one of the most manipulating people.
He was the highest priest of the Church of the Three Heroes and had the power of all three heroes combined because he was the wielder of a legendary weapon.
He was quite powerful, but our MC, Naofumi, defeated him and taught him a great lesson.
12. Itsuki Kawasumi
Itsuki Kawasumi was also one of the four heroes summoned, but he was the oddest of them. Itsuki, also known as the Bow Hero, is a self-obsessed man who only cares about himself.
He always makes fake scenarios in his head, thinking that he is the strongest, although the truth is the polar opposite.
Itsuki is the least powerful of the heroes summoned in Melromarc. He is portrayed as a kind man in the beginning of the anime, but trust me when I say he is the most selfish individual I have ever seen.
In terms of power, Itsuki is strong and can defeat many strong enemies if he is in a rage.
11. Ren Amaki
On number 11, we have Ren Amanaki, one of the four heroes who were summoned into this world. In terms of personality, he is calm and usually never bothers other people.
Ren was a peaceful person who never said anything unpleasant about Naofumi, yet he is still one of the most despised characters.
You might be wondering why he is so hated if he never says much, right? He is despised because of his toxic trait of doing things on his own. He has no patience for collaboration and has been seen kicking people out of his group only because they were too weak.
He wields The Holy Sword, which has mysterious properties that allow it to cut anything. He is the sort of individual that believes he can achieve anything but actually he just causes more problems for others.
In the second section of the blog, we will be discussing the best characters of the anime. The characters that everyone loves.
10. Melty Q. Melromarc
Moving up, we have Melty, and despite being Malty’s sister and born into the Melromarc Family, she is one of the sweetest and kindest characters in the anime. Melty appreciates the authority she has been given and does her best to deliver justice. She wields water magic and is slightly more powerful than her sister, Malty.
She eventually became good friends with Filo. We even get to see her trying to regain Naofumi’s trust after what her sister did to him. To sum it up, Melty is an excellent character that we can look up to.
Fitoria is regarded as one of the greatest characters in The Rising of The Shield Hero, and you’ll agree once you are introduced to her passionate personality. Fitoria is a Filolial Queen and one of history’s famous heroes.
She just has one objective in mind: to save the world. She will do anything to achieve her goal, even if it means killing someone. She also claims that if a hero fails to execute his job correctly, she will kill him, and she is not joking.
Aside from fighting, she enjoys trying new and tasty meals, and if you’re wondering how powerful she is, I’d say she’s one of the strongest characters in The Rising of The Shield Hero.
8. Mirellia Q. Melromarc
Brace yourselves because we will talk about the Queen of Melromarc. Mirellia is the most magnificent lady in this anime. She is the mother of Malty and Melty, and she is nothing like her husband.
She is the one who spoke on Naofumi’s behalf, and did her best to serve him justice. She punished her daughter and husband when she discovered their true objective. In terms of power, she has one of the greatest influences in the world of the Rising of the Shield Hero..
If you like strong female leads, you will love this woman.
7. L’Arc Berg Sickle
On number seven, we have L’Arc Berg Sickle, a figure who we all wish to meet. He is the most entertaining character in the anime, and he can solve any problem.
He is also from another world and is a king there, but instead of sitting on a throne, he decides to live his life to the fullest. He is also quite strong and possesses the Vessel Scythe. Seeing him fighting is one of the finest things I’ve ever done, and I just simply love this man.
He also has a childish side, and he always tries his best not to hurt anyone. Indeed, he is one of the best characters in this anime.
Glass is well-known in anime because of her powerful aura, which can startle anyone. She is from another world and a Vassal wielder. She is of the Spirit people race, and her objective is to kill all four heroes summoned in Melromarc.
If you’re wondering about her strength, it’s so immense that when she entered their realm, all of our heroes were shaken by her immense strength.
However, we haven’t seen much of her in Season 1. It is also rumored that Glass can even shatter prison shields easily.
What do you guys think of her? Let us know in the comments.
5. Kizuna Kazayama
Next character we will talk about is Kizuna, and you might be wondering who she is. Well she’s actually a Manga and Light Novel character who has yet to appear in the anime series.
Kizuna is an Otaku who was transported into Glass’s world as one of the four legendary heroes. (The Rising of The Shield Hero Manga: Volume 16, Chapter 63).
She wielded the Legendary Hunting Tool, which she had gotten the day she was summoned into this world. As for her personality, she is a hyperactive, and a jolly-natured girl who loves to go on different adventures. Are you looking forward to seeing her in Season 2 of The Rising of the Shield Hero? Tell us in the comments.
Raph-chan is…without a doubt…the cutest character in The Rising of the Shield Hero. She is born with Naofumi’s DNA and Raphtalia’s hair (The Rising of The Shield Hero Manga: Chapter 70).
She has yet to debut in anime because she is a manga character. Raph-Chan was also obsessed with Naofumi and Naofumi enjoyed playing with and petting her.
The character we are going to talk about now is going to make you fall in love with her cuteness. Filo is a lovely character who basically hatched from an egg. No, I am not joking, and on top of that, she is only one year old.
Filo simply wants to spend time with Naofumi and see numerous places with him. She wishes for Naofumi to treat her as a kid and give her many delicious meals. No other Filolial except Fitoria can really match her in terms of fighting skills and powers.
Despite her charming appearance, she possesses powerful magical talents, and she is a close companion of Naofumi, Melty, and Raphtalia.
Here comes the hero, whom the entire anime plot revolves around. Naofumi was brought into Melromarc as one of the four legendary heroes, but everyone saw him as a burden and treated him as if he were trash.
He has The Holy Shield, and it was only through the use of this shield that he was able to teach everyone who saw him as a hindrance a lesson. He was a man with the purest heart, but the accusations of Malty made him thirsty for revenge.
Naofumi was the weakest character at first, but during the course of the anime, he grew to be one of the most powerful characters in The Rising of the Shield Hero.
We can all agree that Raphtalia is the only character who deserves to be at the top of our list. Raphtalia is a demi-human and was the first member of the Shield Hero’s crew. Naofumi bought her from a slave trader and taught her every little thing.
Raphtalia has always admired Naofumi since he is the one who saved her from a living hell. Because of him, our female lead has become strong enough to battle alongside Naofumi and assist him in exacting vengeance on all those who have wronged him.
This brings us to the end of today’s blog, and I hope you liked reading it. Tell us in the comments which character you hate the most and why. We’ll see you again soon. Goodbye, and please take good care of yourself!
